Oracle has expanded AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, adding professional development tools, agentic application capabilities, enhanced testing features, and marketplace-driven assets to its existing no-code platform. The expansion positions AI Agent Studio as a thorough environment for building, testing, and deploying AI agents and agent teams across front- and back-office processes. The platform remains available at no additional cost to Oracle Fusion Applications customers and partners.

A central addition is AI Studio Skill, a CLI-based capability that injects Fusion-specific context and tooling into AI coding assistants operating within environments such as VS Code, Codex, and Claude Code. The CLI workflow exposes project structure, APIs, templates, validation routines, packaging steps, and deployment workflows required for Fusion agentic applications.

Oracle has also published a public GitHub repository containing templates, starter projects, sample applications, reusable assets, and reference architectures. Together, these tools enable professional developers to build agentic applications using familiar IDEs, command-line tools, and modern software engineering practices. The pro-code additions complement existing no-code Studio capabilities, extending the platform’s reach across both citizen and professional developer segments.

Oracle has introduced an Agentic Applications Builder designed to create outcome-focused agentic applications from Oracle, partner, and external agents. The Builder provides an AI-powered, natural language-based environment for agent selection, workflow composition, and enterprise data connection without requiring traditional application coding.

Workflow orchestration features support multi-agent, multi-step workflows with checkpoints and approvals embedded into business processes, supporting reliable, enterprise-grade execution at scale. The Builder integrates with Fusion APIs and data stores, allowing agentic workflows to preserve existing business logic and process controls.

The expansion also includes integrated tools governing how agents access and interact with enterprise data. Business Object tools allow AI agents to securely retrieve, update, create, or delete Fusion business object records under native security and role-based access controls.

Connector tools enable agents to interact with external systems and data sources beyond the core Fusion environment. These capabilities guarantee that agents operating across complex workflows remain governed by the same controls applied to the broader Fusion application estate.

Oracle framed AI Agent Studio as a design-time environment for creating, configuring, validating, and deploying AI agents aligned with organizational needs. The expansion’s focus on Fusion-native agentic applications reflects an intent to automate complex business workflows by orchestrating multiple agents working in coordination. Among the agentic ERP applications supported within the platform, the Cost Accounting Close Workspace surfaces exceptions to enable faster and more confident accounting closes.

By extending the platform with pro-code tooling alongside the existing no-code interface, Oracle is targeting a broader range of development use cases within enterprise environments. The inclusion of marketplace-driven assets and a public GitHub repository further signals an ecosystem approach, enabling customers and partners to contribute and consume reusable components rather than building entirely from scratch.

The expanded platform is available to existing Oracle Fusion Applications customers and partners without additional licensing cost.
