Neko Health, a Stockholm-based preventive health company, has raised $700 million in a Series C round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and co-led by O.G. Venture Partners. The capital raise was announced in mid-July 2026 and brings the company’s total disclosed funding since 2023 to more than $1 billion, following a $65 million Series A in 2023 and a $260 million Series B in January 2025.

Existing institutional investors Atomico, General Catalyst, and Lakestar participated in the round alongside new backers Liberty City Ventures, Positive Sum, and BDT & MSD. The round also attracted notable individual investors, including Mark Zuckerberg, Priscilla Chan, will.i.am, Maria Sharapova, and Thierry Henry, joining existing celebrity and tech investors such as Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian and actor Zoë Saldaña.

Neko Health operates AI-supported, non-invasive full-body scanning clinics that combine medical imaging, blood tests, proprietary sensors, and clinician review. A standard assessment lasts approximately 60 minutes and captures millions of health data points per person, generating rapid 3D health maps to support earlier detection of conditions including cancer and heart disease.

Clinical focus areas span skin health, blood sugar and pre-diabetes risk, blood abnormalities, and risk factors for metabolic syndrome, stroke, and heart attack. More than 100,000 people have undergone Neko Health scans across its existing markets in Sweden and the United Kingdom.

The Series C proceeds are earmarked primarily for US expansion. Neko Health plans to open its first US clinic in New York later in 2026, with additional cities to follow on a schedule not yet publicly disclosed. A waitlist for the New York location is already open on the company’s website.

The funding is also intended to support broader deployment of the company’s body-scanning systems in medical and wellness facilities across the country. Two of Neko Health’s devices received FDA clearance in May 2026 via the 510(k) pathway, though these clearances apply to the individual devices rather than the complete Neko Health Scan as an approved service.

In its current European markets, Neko Health charges approximately £299 in the United Kingdom and 2,750 Swedish crowns in Sweden, equivalent to roughly $400 and $286 respectively. US pricing has not been disclosed. The company’s commercial model is built around private preventive screening rather than insurance-reimbursed acute care, meaning initial US assessments will require direct out-of-pocket payment, as the clinics currently operate outside traditional insurance networks.

The round is classified as growth capital intended to accelerate international rollout and scale clinical operations. Neko Health’s expansion into the United States represents a significant step in bringing its preventive scanning model to a larger market, where demand for early-detection health services has grown alongside broader consumer interest in proactive health management.

The company’s approach positions it within the expanding category of technology-enabled preventive care, targeting individuals willing to pay out of pocket for extensive health assessments outside the conventional healthcare system.
